Enrollment at KICS starts early each year. Please watch our school calendar for information concerning enrollment. Each year in September we have a community meeting. At this meeting we will announce the opening of enrollment for the following school year.
In order to help parents budget better we have divided our school fees into 3 equal payments. The first payment is due October 31st. The second payment is due November 15th and the last payment is due January 15th.
Who is eligible to enroll in 2026?
We will be offering grade 1-4 this year at KICS.
Students who wish to enroll must complete the following steps:
- Complete an online diagnostic test. This will highlight learning gaps in the students math and English skills. This will also give us the student’s starting level. Students will not be placed in grades based on years attending school or birth year. They will be leveled by the skills they have mastered. Any learning gaps must be topped up before the start of school in January or these units will be reassigned at the start of school.
- All parents and children must attend school orientation. For parents this will be held for 2 days in January the Monday and Tuesday of resumption week and students will follow for 3 days.
- All fees must be completed according to the calendar provided.
- All students and parents will sign the school’s honor contract.
- Students must be current on all required vaccines as per the PNG health department requirements.
