No plate, no water waste! This dry season has already tested us in new ways. As early as June we found the community tanks were dry and no rain was in sight. At the school we have started to make little changes, special efforts to conserve and protect our precious water supplies.
Today’s lunch was served on leaves, traditional style, saving soap and water and providing needed compostables for our gardens. Take a moment and thank God for the blessings you might often overlook, rain in its season and clean water to drink. For many in PNG, and around the world, these small things aren’t small at all.
