At KICS we recognize every student as an individual. Part of the education journey is determining what each child knows and where any learning gaps may be that need to be addressed before continuing forward. During term two holidays we began early testing for a few students who are interested in attending KICS in 2026. These students came from both Samban Central Elementary School and Samban Primary School. Each performed a battery of 4 tests focused on Math, Spelling, English and Reading. Students were excited to use the computer for their tests and did a good job learning how to use the track pad and keyboard to input their answers.

Many more students and parents have expressed interest in participating in the entry tests, however school holidays and our first round of testing is over. We will have another round of testing in September between terms three and four. A big thank you to the parents for supporting the new school. A total of 20 students completed the tests this past week.
